Frisco Visitors Guide

CHALLENGE: Working directly with the head of the Frisco, Texas, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Tiger Oak custom was tasked with the launch of the first-ever visitor’s guide for Frisco. This required developing the editorial content and lasting brand design, all while making the product cost-effective through strong advertising sales.

RESULT: Launch products can be a challenge, but with strong editorial and marketing representation in the market, we had a very successful launch. The product sold-out through Frisco’s distribution channels and nearly doubled in revenue during year two due to the strong response the publication had in driving tourists to the region. We even received a hug from the mayor complimenting us on the tremendous work we did on the city’s behalf. We expect the publication to grow as the community of Frisco grows.

 

Unique Venues Guide

CHALLENGE: Unique Venues is a company that acts as a conduit between nontraditional venues and meeting space providers with meeting, event and association planners. They wanted to develop a publication to showcase their services as well as their clients’ unique spaces to help facilitate interest and sales in the niche vertical. We were charged with developing custom content, design, layout, pre-production and post-production services.

RESULT: With a keen understanding of the meetings and events marketplace, we were immediately able to assign a top editor to the project and meet their needs from an editorial standpoint. Combined with an award-winning design and production team at our disposal, we were able to develop a high-quality launch product at an affordable cost that will help promote Unique Venues partners through a highly engaging and visible product.

Aspire Magazine

CHALLENGE: Aspire is the official publication of the RCMA (Religious Conference Management Association) with a membership base of religious meeting planners and suppliers. They wanted to update and redesign their publication to showcase their “how-to” information and trends that address their unique meeting concerns. We were charged with developing custom content, design, layout, ad sales, pre-production and post-production services.

RESULT: After assigning a top meetings and events editor with a religious background and utilizing our entire sales staff, we were able to hit to ground running to produce a highly engaging and revenue generating product. Combined with an award-winning design and production team at our disposal, Tiger Oak infused new life into the publication to make it more successful.
