Tiger Oak Media Executive John Kueber Steps into Newly Created Role of President, Digital Media as Company Looks to Expand Online Capabilities

January 14th, 2015 (SEATTLE, WA ) --- As part of its commitment to significantly expanding its online presence, Tiger Oak Media is pleased to announce that John Kueber has been tapped to lead the company’s Digital Media efforts as President, Digital Media.

Since 2008, Kueber has served as the Publisher of Seattle Magazine and Seattle Business Magazine, and COO of its West Coast operations. Prior to that, Kueber founded several successful media and technology businesses.

In his new role as President of Digital Media, Kueber is developing robust new content marketing opportunities for advertisers that capitalize on Tiger Oak’s expertise in reaching local audiences. This carefully selected sponsored content will live alongside the high-quality editorial content on Tiger Oak’s 30+ regional websites, providing additional value for both advertisers and readers. Kueber is also building a new in-house digital marketing and social media team that will promote Tiger Oak’s editorial and advertiser content across the web, expanding the company’s regional and national visibility and making it easier for existing readers to stay up-to-date on the latest online content.

“The future of Tiger Oak clearly includes a larger investment in digital,” says Tiger Oak Media president and owner Craig Bednar, “and John’s the perfect choice to lead us in this area given his extensive experience working with advertisers and editorial in both print and online.”

“I am excited and enthusiastic about the role,” says Kueber. “We have a unique opportunity to develop exciting digital products for both regional and national advertisers. Our expertise in developing high quality media combined and our relationships with leading advertisers and marketers will allow us to accelerate our digital business exponentially in the coming years.”
