Digital Marketing Internship
If you have a sincere interest in learning the basic tools of the web, including CMS, campaign planning, display ad serving, email and social media marketing look no further. Tiger Oak Media is seeking an online intern for a three-month term to work closely with the digital marketing and ad-ops manager to gain hands-on experience in publisher side advertising. This fast-paced, fun internship requires excellent organization, good verbal communication skills, and a love of advertising/marketing.The intern will:
- Compile and prep weekly email newsletters and ad hoc blasts
- Assist with calendar/inventory updates
- Assist in forecasting and updating display advertising campaigns via DoubleClick
- Assist in setting up and optimizing various paid social media campaigns
- Research advertising and marketing platforms and trends
- Create advertiser pages via CMS
The ad-ops/marketing intern should have the following skills:
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple assignments with extreme attention to detail
- Must be able to work with a high degree of accuracy, and function quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and be able to interact effectively with other diverse team members
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Possess a technical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- A sincere interest in the Internet, advertising and marketing
- CMS and social media experience
- Basic knowledge of ad serving
- Basic knowledge of data analytics
- Basic Photoshop skills
- Ability to follow formatting standards

You will be called upon regularly to use your product knowledge to make recommendations for improving campaigns. You will work on a wide range of projects, from the glamorous to the granular. This is a teaching internship and is unpaid except for a small stipend upon completion. It requires a commitment of four hours a day, five days a week for three months.
