Marketing and Events Coordinator

Marketing and Events Coordinator

- Assist in all Business and Lifestyle events on all aspects including vendor research, ticket promotion, day of event execution, etc.

- Point person for all Sales Events, project manage events for clients based on their needs

- Create and manage all Inside Seattle, Business, and promotional posts on all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin

- Live tweet and post/repost on Instagram from events

- Create spreadsheets and reports analyzing sales and event data for clients (1 sheets)

- Prepare sponsor packets and collateral for sales team

- Research and conduct outreach for Seattle Business awards nominations and speakers

- Contribute to brainstorms on creative ideas for event promotion, content and coordination

- Travel and work overtime as needed to attend events, may include weekends

- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- BA or BS or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or events preferred

- 1-5 years of professional experience

- Excellent Communicator, both verbal and written

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and projects at once

- Intense attention to detail with accuracy and consistency

- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

- Experience working with social media scheduling and design tools such as Hootsuite and Canva

- Comfortable asking questions and learning in a fast paced environment

- Strong proofreading and editing abilities

- ‘Can do’ attitude and ability to take initiative, working both independently and as a team
