Tiger Oak Media Hires Former Expedia and MTV Digital Content Expert Sarah Warn to lead Digital Media Division
June 2, 2014 (SEATTLE, WA )---Tiger Oak Media is pleased to announce that Sarah Warn will join the company in the newly created position Vice President of Digital Media.
Warn brings 15 years of experience creating and managing digital editorial strategies, search engine marketing and social media strategies to the digital platforms of Seattle Magazine; regional bride titles including Seattle Bride, California Wedding Day, Oregon Bride and Minnesota Bride; Seattle Business and Minnesota Business, as well dozens of Tiger Oak’s other regional consumer and custom titles. After selling a network of entertainment websites to Viacom in 2006, Warn served as director of online editorial for several MTV Network web sites through 2009. Prior to that, she created and grew Expedia’s search engine marketing program to one of the largest in the nation.

Sarah has the skills and experience to lead our digital efforts and strengthen every aspect of what we produce from print to videos to events.”
“I’m looking forward to working with Tiger Oak to grow its online brands in keeping with the high quality of its print publications,” says Warn. Having started at Avenue A/Aquantive as a media buyer, Warn moved to Expedia.com and became the senior group manager for search engine marketing. She then launched and grew her own site, AfterEllen.com, for seven years and sold it to MTV Networks. MTV hired Sarah as the director of online editorial where she then oversaw nine news and entertainment websites and managed staff editors, bloggers and content creators. She moved back to Seattle in 2009 and has been an independent consultant working with non-profits and businesses on social media, branding and assessing performance utilizing data-driven performance metrics. Sarah has her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and her master’s degree from Harvard University.
